The English Premier League soccer match between Chelsea and Brighton offered a whopping six-goal opening period. Even more outrageous was that Cole Palmer scored all four of Chelsea’s goals. He is the first player to score four goals in the opening half of a Premier League match.

Palmer equalized for Brighton in the 21st minute, gave the team the lead with a 28th minute penalty and scored to make it 3–1 in the 31st minute. At the end of the period, Palmer scored another 4–2 goal. He scored in 19 minutes and 47 seconds. Palmer also got the ball into the goalposts once and had one goal disallowed.

Palmer rose to second in the Premier League goal exchange. He now has six perfect hits. Manchester City Erling Haaland is in the top spot with ten goals.
