The Android 11 update for Nokia 9 PureView was supposed to come out in Q3 2021. However, HMD Global announced that it has decided not to give the promised update. The company explained the rationale for its decision via its website in Poland.
HMD Global explains the reason for their decision for the Android 11 update, saying that incompatibilities between the camera and software will lead to a decrease in user experience that does not meet the high standards.
The company said that although the Nokia 9 PureView will not receive Android 11 support, the phone will continue to receive security updates.
