Four men aged 18 to 20 have been arrested on suspicion of raping two underage girls in Borås last night.
– They are a few years younger than the boys, says Thomas Fuxborg, the police’s press officer.
At 04:00 this morning, two girls called the police and told them that they had been raped in an apartment in Borås.
– The police go up to this apartment where one of the four guys is written. They search the house and arrest the guys who are still in the apartment, says Thomas Fuxborg.
The police do not know how the people involved know each other, but have an image that the girls have been in the apartment voluntarily.
– We do not suspect that they have been kidnapped. Then how long they have been in the apartment can the interrogation give us.
The men are detained on suspicion of rape. They have not been questioned yet.
At the same time as the men were arrested, the girls were taken to Södra Älvsborg Hospital for a check-up.
– I have no information about injuries.
The apartment has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
