Manchester City leads the league with a point in the English Premier League. Chelsea spoiled the victory celebrations that were waiting for City with a fierce struggle in extra time.

League leader Manchester City and London-based big club Chelsea tied the scores in the Premier League Sunday evening match in London. The wild goal celebration finally ended 4–4.
City was close to winning in the final moments, but City’s topper Ruben Diaz tackled by the attacker Armando Brojan cancel in the penalty area. After the market meeting that followed the penalty kick Cole Palmer shot a point into the goal and completed the final readings to the delight of the home crowd.
The 21-year-old Palmer, who impressed in City’s junior academy, moved from City to Chelsea last summer.

Aston Villa won 3-1 at home against Fulham, Brighton drew 1-1 at home against Sheffield United and West Ham celebrated a 3-2 home win against Nottingham Forest. Aston Villa have won no fewer than 13 of their most recent home matches in the Premier League.
