Netflix releases hard Rebel Moon versions: They show the original idea

Rebel Moon revolves around Kora (Sofia Boutella), whose planet is one day attacked by minions of the dark empire. The war veteran then searches for Fighters for the resistance.

Zack Snyder originally designed Rebel Moon as a Star Wars story. He was eventually able to bring the idea to Netflix without any reference to lightsabers. As he explains on X, the uncut version is his original vision.

When is Rebel Moon 3 coming out?

Snyder has planned at least three parts for his Rebel Moon series. It is not yet clear whether and when the third film will be released. We expect it to be 2026 with a start. In addition to Boutella, Ed Skrein (Deadpool) and Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) can also be seen in front of the camera in the first two films.
