The ceasefire agreement requires that 600 truckloads of aid be allowed into Gaza every day for the first six weeks.
915 aid trucks arrived in the Gaza Strip on the second day of the ceasefire on Monday, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and the extremist organization Hamas entered into force on Sunday.
According to OCHA, the Israeli authorities and the negotiators of the cease-fire agreement, the United States, Egypt and Qatar, informed about the matter.
Israel has restricted the activities of aid organizations in Gaza since it began razing the strip in October 2023 in response to a surprise attack by Hamas on the Israeli side.
The UN said earlier that on Sunday, around 630 aid trucks arrived in Gaza. At least 300 of them headed towards the northern part of the strip, which experts have warned is suffering from famine.
The ceasefire agreement requires that 600 truckloads of aid, including 50 truckloads of fuel, be allowed into Gaza every day for the first six weeks. Half of the aid trucks should be delivered to the northern part of Gaza.
