According to a UN report, more than 70 percent of the world’s workforce is at high risk of suffering from extreme heat.
Billions are suffering from extreme heat as temperatures soar above 50 degrees around the world.
The world must rise up against the problems caused by heat, said the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres held on Wednesday at the press conference.
Countries must wean themselves off fossil fuels as if the future depends on it, Guterres said.
