Which parking lot is the most wrong and is the ugliest in Sweden? The Nature Conservation Society wants to find the answer to that question in a vote.
A parking space at Skeppsbron in Umeå is among the ten finalists.
– I don’t think it’s Sweden’s ugliest parking lot, I’ve seen worse, says Karin Wallin.
“Could have been a park”
The idea is to draw attention to parking spaces that could instead have been a square, a playground or something other than just parking lots.
– It could have been a park or something that doesn’t stand for this building, which is welcome to be seen, says Anna Lindström, referring to the large brick building in front of the parking lot.
