Weaver will extensively analyze brain scans of almost three thousand people who have had a stroke. These scans show exactly where the damage occurred and how serious this damage is. In combination with other patient data, such as gender, age and cardiac arrhythmias, he will develop a new model. With this, he hopes to be able to predict who will have a stroke in the future.
