Ultra expensive action surprise starring Jason Statham taking on a monster
Jason Statham has defeated several Fast & Furious baddies and half the British underworld in his films. However, he only faced off once against a primeval Mega Shark. In fact in the surprise hit Meg, which is on TV tonight. Action star Jason Statham will soon dueling another basking shark in Meg 2

In Meg, Stathtam plays Jonas Taylor, a deep sea diver who has had a minor mishap in the Mariana Trench awakens a prehistoric shark of the species Megalodon. The massive behemoth is out for blood, attacking Taylor and his group whenever it can.

Meg’s action shoot was complicated and expensive. But it was worth it. Despite the hefty budget of 178 million US dollars, the monster film became a cinema success and made it possible to produce a sequel. Meg 2 is slated to hit theaters on August 3, 2023.

When is Meg on TV?

The first Meg part will this Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 8:15 p.m. on Sat. 1 run. If you don’t have time, you can catch up on the film the following day at 23.05. In addition to Statham, Ruby Rose (John Wick: Chapter 2) is in front of the camera.
