He tried to register the trademark last year with the Patent and Registration Office, but was then refused. He then appealed to the Stockholm District Court, which ruled in his favor.
A new Jönssonligan film is scheduled to premiere on Christmas Day this year, with, among others, Robert Gustafsson in the role of “Sickan” and Jonas Karlsson in Brunnberg’s role as Vanheden. Brunnberg now wants to prevent cinemas from showing the film.
