Ukrainian mayor announced They forcibly took 31 thousand civilians to

The lives of civilians in the Russia-Ukraine war is on the agenda of the whole world. Finally, a remarkable statement was made by the mayor of Mariupol, Vadim Boychenko, regarding Mariupol, which the Russians kept under a blockade. Boychenko, speaking to a local television, stated that 31,000 civilians from Mariupol were forcibly taken to Russia or the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” by Russian forces, and that they have a verified list of people who were forcibly removed.

“DOCUMENT IS FORCED SIGNED”

Noting that these people were subjected to various humiliations there, Boychenko said that the Russian authorities treated them harshly, their fingerprints were taken and they were forced to sign various documents.

Boychenko also stated that only the Berdyansk-Zaporizhia humanitarian corridor operates in the Mariupol region and that people are evacuated to safe areas via this route, adding that 95,000 civilians from Mariupol have been taken to Zaporizhia through the aforementioned corridor.

While there are various difficulties in taking the civilians in Mariupol, where Russia’s attacks continue, to the safe areas of Ukraine, Russian forces pose different obstacles to the convoys that will evacuate the civilians. (AA)
