Ukrainian leader Zelensky asked for weapons support to stop Russian

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues with all its violence, especially in the Donetsk region. He decided to send Patriots in Germany to Ukraine, where the US would provide 3 billion dollars of military aid. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked the allies to continue their aid.

In his daily video address to the nation, which he shared at night, Zelenskiy stated that he made phone calls with the leaders of some countries to get support in the ongoing war against Russia. Zelenskiy, who also talked to the President of the European Union (EU) Council, Charles Michel, on the phone, said that they discussed Ukraine’s integration process with the EU, financial issues and arms support for his country.

“TO HISTORY DEFEAT THE STATE OF TERROR…”

Zelenskiy argued that Ukraine’s victory over Russia is of great importance not only for his country, but also for everyone who cares about global democracy and freedom. Expressing his gratitude to all countries that provided arms aid to Ukraine, Zelenskiy said, “The free world has everything it needs to stop the Russian aggression and inflict a historic defeat on the terror state.” he said.

The Ukrainian leader said that after his visit to the capital Washington, he made phone calls with world leaders and carried out intense diplomatic traffic.

Zelensky said:

“After my visit to Washington, I had a total of nearly thirty meetings (phone calls) with the leaders and representatives of the partner states. It is literally felt how the world’s determination to overcome Russian aggression is increasing day by day.” (AA)
