Zelenskiy shared information on the latest developments regarding the ongoing war against Russia in his country, in a video post he made from his Telegram account at night.
Noting that the Ukrainian army’s struggle against Russian forces continues in various regions of his country, Zelenskiy drew attention to the fact that the hottest clashes took place in Donetsk, especially in the last week.
‘WE PROTECT OUR POSITIONS’
Zelensky used the following statements:
“The most intense clashes during this week have concentrated in Bahmut and Soledar in the Donbas. We are holding our positions. The Russian army has probably lost more lives and ammunition in these and other districts in the Donetsk region than in the two Chechnya wars combined.”
Stating that an additional military aid package of approximately $ 400 million from the USA to Ukraine has been approved, Zelenskiy said, “The amount of the package is $ 400 million. In particular, these are armored vehicles that we really need for our progress.” he said.
