Ukrainian leader Zelenskiy made a statement about the losses in the Russia-Ukraine War. Zelenskiy said, “31 thousand Ukrainian soldiers were killed in this war. Neither 300 thousand nor 150 thousand. But still, this is a great loss for us.”
Objecting to the high figures given by Russia about Ukraine’s casualties in the war, Zelesnkiy stated that he could not disclose the number of wounded soldiers in the war because this was information that would help Russia. Zelenskiy also stated that tens of thousands of civilians were killed in the occupied regions of his country.
