Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to Sweden

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will participate in the EU’s informal foreign ministers’ meeting in Stockholm this weekend, Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (M) stated on Friday.
– I am very happy to welcome the Ukrainian foreign minister to Sweden and Stockholm, says Billström.

Dmytro Kuleba is visiting Sweden to participate in the EU’s informal meeting of foreign ministers, which will be held on Friday and Saturday in Märsta and Arlanda outside Stockholm.

Kuleba will be present during Saturday’s meeting when discussions on Russia and Ukraine take place.

Frozen Russian assets will be discussed

Part of Saturday’s meeting will deal with frozen Russian assets, and how they will be able to pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

– It forms part of the discussion, but not only at this informal ministerial meeting. It is something that we are constantly discussing – the possibility of using frozen Russian assets to be able to finance the reconstruction, says Billström and continues:

– Sweden is involved in that discussion, and even though it is a tricky legal matter that requires you to twist and turn many aspects, I want to emphasize that it is an issue that we need to take very seriously.
