The Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine Roman Leshenko resigned. While the deputy minister confirmed the news, no information was provided on the reason for the resignation.
It is stated that Roman Leshenko submitted his resignation on Wednesday and informed his staff about the issue.
Leshenko’s resignation must be put to a vote in the parliament. The newspaper Ekonomichna Pravda said that Taras Vysotsky, the first deputy of Leshenko, will serve as acting minister.
Leshenko took up his post in November 2020.
