Ukraine’s intelligence chief doubts the Wagner leader’s death

After the Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin death, the speculations have been many.
Now the head of Ukraine’s intelligence service claims that
Prigozhin maybe alive.
– There is not a single proof that he is dead, says Kyrylo Brudanov.

It was last August that the Wagner conductor Yevgeny Prigozhin died when a private plane with ten passengers crashed 30 miles north of Moscow.

In an interview with Financial Times now claims Kyrylo Brudanov, head of Ukrainian intelligence, that the former Wagner leader may be alive.

– The Wagner group exists. And when it comes to Prigozhin, I wouldn’t be so quick to jump to conclusions, he says and continues:

– I’m not saying he’s dead or not dead. I’m just saying that there is not one shred of evidence that he is dead.

It was Russian authorities who stated that Prigozhin was one of the passengers on the plane. The accident occurred two months after the Wagner leader staged an armed uprising in Moscow.

Several theories behind Prigozhin’s death

After his death, speculation has been rife, and several people have questioned whether the plane crash was really an accident.

According to intelligence information to the Wall Street Journal, there is a theory that a small bomb may have been placed in the aircraft before departure.

Nikolai Patrushev, who is described as Putin’s right-hand man, is said to have been the mastermind behind the death plan, according to the newspaper.

According to Jacob Kaarsbo, the senior analyst at the think tank Europe, Ukrainian intelligence chief Brudanov has a point.

– He is right that there is no evidence that Prigozhin is dead, he says in Danish TV2.
