Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wants to see a peace summit at the UN in February. He says so in an interview with AP. As a mediator, he wants UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
– All wars end through the decisions made on the battlefield and at the negotiating table, says Kuleba to AP.
The peace negotiations, which he wants to be held in the UN, would then take place around the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
When asked whether Russia should be invited to the talks, Kuleba says that the country must be prosecuted for war crimes in an international court first.
