In the United States, the Department of Defense successfully tested a group of 103 microdrones dropped from three combat aircraft. Driven by artificial intelligence, these small machines 16 centimeters long have demonstrated their ability to fly in formation and make decisions to adapt to circumstances.

The Ukrainian army has just got its hands on a component of one of the most advanced systems of the Russian army. Earlier this week, she discovered a container on the outskirts of Kyiv that is half of the Krasukha-4, a war device mobile which serves in particular to jam the radar enemies. The container, which was only slightly damaged, had been abandoned and camouflaged with some branches.

The system is composed of a first vehicle containing many sensors and a second that carries the command post. It was the latter that was discovered. The Krasukha-4 is a formidable tool because it can jam radars and satellites over a radius of nearly 300 kilometers. It is particularly designed to locate and scramble the airborne detection and command systems (SDCA or Awacs in English) used by NATO.

The Krasukha-4 will be reviewed in the United States

the jammer is so powerful that it could damage sensitive electronic systems on some aircraft. This capture is of particular interest to Western intelligence services. The container will be transported to Ramstein Air Base in Germany and then presumably sent to the United States to be shelled.

This device can also interfere with drone and therefore represents one of the defensive measures of the Russian army in order to protect itself against the Ukrainian squadron which uses Bayraktar TB2 drones to attack Russian tanks and armored vehicles. With the loss of a cutting-edge device, the cost of this war for the Kremlin continues to mount.
