(Finance) – A Red Cross convoy carrying humanitarian and medical aid to Mariupol would be blocked in Zaporizhzhia pebecause the security guarantees required for the team have not yet been received. The BBC correspondent argues.

Other buses, more than 40 traveled on Thursday but, according to Ukrainian sources, were stopped in the Russian-controlled city of Berdyansk. At least eight oil tanks have been set on fire in an alleged attack by Ukrainian helicopters on a fuel depot in Russia’s Belgorod region, according to reports from Tass citing local sources. Meanwhile, the Russian ministry for emergencies – Tass always tells us – has sent at least 170 firefighters assisted by 50 vehicles to put out the fire, which is described as being of considerable size. The inhabitants of the houses near the burning depot they were evicted from their homes.

Despite the announced de-escalation of hostilities, the Russian forces would be regrouping ready to launch “mighty attacks” against the Donbass, where an Italian foreign fighter also died, and the south of Ukraine, starting with Mariupol: the Sos is owned by the Ukrainian president himself, Volodymyr Zelensky, in a new video message launched in the middle of the night.
