The situation with the widespread fires in California is extremely difficult – and Ukrainians can help.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his evening speech posted on social media.
The president has instructed Ukraine’s interior minister and diplomats to prepare for possible Ukrainian participation in firefighting.
– We already have 150 firefighters on standby.
The United States is one of Ukraine’s most important allies in the war against Russia. According to Zelenskyj, the aid to California has been offered “through relevant channels”.
