Ukraine negotiations on grain release are underway Turkey provides 20

(Finance) – Turkey is willing to export the grain that will leave the Ukrainian ports. The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan – according to what Anadolu reports – he also made it known that he will talk again about “export of agricultural products” from Ukraine with the Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and the Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky.

“We can export these products to countries that need them, in the region we have about 20 ships are available and they’re ready to go, “he said Erdogan adding that this role of Turkey will depend on a positive response from Putin and Zelensky.

Although they are ongoing consultations on the unblocking of Ukrainian ports for the export of grain, in particular with the United Nations and Turkey, – as announced by the Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak – no date has yet been set for a meeting “in Turkey or anywhere else”. At the moment – added Yermak – there are no agreements or negotiations regarding a meeting between Zelensky and Putin.

Meanwhile Kiev accused Moscow of stealing its grain. L’Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara, Vasyl Bodnar, asked the Turkish authorities to seize the Russian ship Zhibek Zholy, arrived near the Turkish coasts of the Black Sea from the busy port of Berdiansk with a loaded with 7 thousand tons of grain. The cargo, 140 meters long, dropped anchor about a kilometer from the port of Karasu, east of the mouth of the Bosphorus. “I am convinced – said Bodnar – that measures will be taken that will avoid attempts to violate Ukraine’s sovereignty”.
