Earlier this year, it became clear that the US would send 31 tanks of the M1 Abrams model to Ukraine.
Now the American tanks seem to have arrived, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Rustem Umjerov.
“Abrams, welcome to Ukraine,” he writes on the X social media platform.
Even the country’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, confirms the arrival of the tanks, on his Telegram account.
According to The New York Times, they arrived earlier than expected – and more should be on the way.
