Ukrainian forces are now operating behind Russia’s third and last line of defense in western Zaporizhzhya, writes the American think tank ISW with reference to geotagged images.

However, ISW says it is not ready to talk about a full breakthrough.

The images, said to have been taken on Thursday, are said to show Ukrainian armored vehicles south of the Russian trenches and obstacles that make up the third line. These are to be involved in “limited fighting” west of Verbove.

Meanwhile, a ship loaded with wheat is reported to have left the Ukrainian port city of Chornomorsk in the Black Sea. This despite the Russian threats directed at such transports after Moscow withdrew in July from the agreement on grain exports from Ukraine that Turkey negotiated together with the UN.
