(Telestock) – UK producer prices slow in August. According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the producer price index (output) recorded a change of -0.3% on a monthly basis, dafter the unchanged figure of the previous month and estimated by analysts.
On an annual basis, a has been registered variation equal to +0.2%against the +0.8% of the previous month and compared to the +0.5% expected.
The core index, excluding food, beverages, tobacco and oil, recorded a change of +0.1% on the month (+0.1% in July), while it rose by 1.3% on the year, after the previous +1%.
