(Finance) – The UK producer prices in May 2022. According to the National Bureau of Statistics (ONS), the producer price index (output) is rose 1.6% on a monthly basisabove market expectations (+ 1.5%) and below the previous month (+ 2.8%, revised by a preliminary of + 2.3%).
On an annual basisone registered positive change of 15.7%against the + 14.7% of the previous month (revised by a preliminary of + 14%) and the + 14.7% expected by the market.
L’core indexexcluding food, beverages, tobacco and oil, rose by 1.5% on the month, after + 2.2% in April (revised by a preliminary of + 1.6%), and on an annual basis by 14.8% from the previous + 13.9% (revised by a preliminary of + 13%).
