Attacks on Muslim cemeteries continue in Germany. An unknown person or persons attacked the Muslim cemetery in the city of Iserlohn in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. 20 of the more than 100 cemeteries in the cemetery located at the entrance of the city were destroyed. Doğan Üstün, the President of the Iserlohn DITIB Mosque Association, said, “There was an ugly attack on our cemetery. We were informed about the attack, which was noticed by the people who visited the cemetery after the new year. The prosecutor’s office and the police also called. “They investigated the scene for nearly two hours,” he said.
Stating that he was deeply saddened by the attack, Üstün said, “We talked to the authorities, their investigations are continuing. Around 20 tombstones were destroyed. Attacks were made on Muslim cemeteries. It is estimated that the attack took place around 01:30 or 02:00 at night,” he shared.

Mikail Işık, who viewed the destroyed cemeteries, said in the video, “01.01.2022. There was a treacherous attack on the Iserlohn Muslim Cemetery. The graves were damaged. As you can see, citizens are coming and trying to fix their cemeteries. May Allah have mercy on our past. May Allah not give the enemies of Islam an opportunity. As you can see, everyone is now They collect the graves and take care of them,” he said.
Işık said, “We will renew their care. But these enemies of Islam must not get away with their cruelty. Crimes must be found and punished. This is our request from where we live. This is our request from the Iserlohn authorities. We want these traitors to be caught. This is our right. Those who attack mosques and cemeteries must be caught and punished. This is our demand,” he said.
“Unfortunately, we encounter such incidents frequently. But we will seek all our rights by forcing all our means,” said Işık.

“We have learned with regret that an attack was carried out on a Muslim cemetery in the city of Iserlohn, Germany. The attack that took place on New Year’s Eve is a new indicator of the sickly anti-Islamic mentality that has recently been on the rise especially in Europe and has made even Muslim cemeteries a target. The perpetrators of this disastrous attack have been identified. We hope that they will be brought to justice and punished with the punishment they deserve.
