Yoweri Museveni took the reins of the Framework Agreement for Peace, Security and Cooperation in the Great Lakes region on Wednesday May 28. The Ugandan President succeeds for two years at the head of this structure to his Burundian Ovariste Ndayishimiye counterpart. On the occasion of this witness handling, Yoweri Museveni exposed his vision of the Congolese crisis. He strongly criticized the search for solutions outside, and calls to put the initiative in the hands of the countries of the region.
