UFL: You can download the open beta of a new football game for free

The Ultimate Football League (UFL) is launching today as a competitor for EA FC. The open beta can be downloaded from now on. But when can you play the first online game?

What kind of game is this? UFL is from the small development studio “Strikerz”, who are tackling their first major project in the gaming industry. The game was announced at Gamescom 2021.

The company has been working on its own football simulation game for several years now. It uses the Unreal Engine 5, which is supposed to provide great graphics. After the official release, it will be playable for free on all consoles and will be a purely online game.

After some content creators from the FIFA scene were able to try out the alpha version last year, the free open beta for players worldwide starts this weekend. However, not for all consoles.

Which consoles is the open beta intended for? The open beta is playable on PC and the next-gen consoles, i.e. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. All other consoles cannot play the open beta.

Download and start of the Open Beta: Servers are online

The download was available at the beginning of the week. We recommend searching for and downloading the open beta directly from your PC or console stores. On ufl.com, the official UFL website, you can also find links to the respective consoles. However, some players reported that they received an error message when accessing the links.
