A year and a half is the lifespan of Hyper Scape, the famous Battle Royale that Ubisoft released in August 2020 in complete anonymity. At the time, the title wanted to ride the wave of BR, but was unable to transform the trial despite some small good ideas, such as its interactive aspect with Twitch. Result, few people at launch and very quickly, the game showed signs of obvious weaknesses. The Seasons began to follow one another quickly, in order to offer ever more content, but without success, the servers having been deserted by the players, pushing the French publisher to take this difficult decision to disconnect its game, already dead there. at some point you have to admit it. Hyper Scape will therefore say goodbye on April 28 and on the official website, the team leaves a message of farewell and thanks to all those who let themselves be seduced by their game. Ubisoft will however draw lessons from this bitter failure. RIP as they say.
