Ubah Cristina Ali Farah writer between Italy and Somalia

Ubah Cristina Ali Farah was born in 1973 to a Somali father and an Italian mother. She grew up in Mogadishu until she was 18. The outbreak of civil war in 1991 forced him to leave Somalia abruptly. Her first novel “Madre piccola” (Vittorini Prize 2008) has just been translated into French. At the time of the Paris Book Fair and the Italissimo festival where Italian literature is in the spotlight, Ubah Cristina Ali Farah is our guest.
