While sirens and gunfire were rising behind the UAV detected over Ukraine’s capital Kiev, the UAV was shot down by the security forces.
“Everybody calm down. Our air defense systems are working. Everyone stay in the bunkers until further warning,” said Sergey Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. said.

Stating that a UAV hovering over Kiev was neutralized, Popko said, “An unmanned aerial vehicle was detected over Kiev. This vehicle was shot down by air defense systems. There is no loss of life, there is no information about the destruction of residences or city infrastructure.” said.
