Two youths were let off with a warning after Chatham-Kent police responded to a weapons call in the Downtown Chatham Center parking garage on Saturday.

Chatham-Kent police said a citizen saw two youths on the top level of the parking garage as one allegedly waved a gun around.

Officers arrived and arrested the two youths as they were leaving the main level of the parking garage, police said.

A BB gun was located in a backpack during a search by police.

The youth were cautioned about their actions and released to their parents with no charges laid, police said.

Break-in on Buckingham Avenue

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a house was broken into on Buckingham Avenue in Chatham on Saturday.

Liquor and personal items were stolen, police said.
