Brantford police are investigating an assault involving a number of young people in the Brantwood Park Road area.
Officers were dispatched to the area at about 8:30 pm after receiving a 911 call reporting that numerous young people were involved in a dispute. The incident escalated and two young people sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a stabbing.
Police said the victims were transported to hospital for treatment.
The investigation is active and ongoing and four young people have been arrested, police said.
Police have been working in collaboration with Grand Erie District School Board and Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board representatives to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved, a police spokesperson said.
