Two years of war in Ukraine: Utrecht expresses unconditional support

Two years of war in Ukraine Utrecht expresses unconditional support

“We will help you, no matter what” or “We will help you, no matter what,” said Deputy Mayor of Utrecht Eelco Eerenberg. He emphasized several times that Ukrainians can continue to count on unconditional support from the municipality. The deputy mayor can therefore count on loud applause several times. Especially when – like every speaker on stage today – he says “Slava Ukraini” towards the end. This means ‘glory to Ukraine’ and is widely used as a slogan during the war. The fact that the bells of the Dom Tower are playing the Ukrainian national anthem today is a nice extra surprise for many people in the room.
