A truck and a car have collided on national highway 27 in Tranemo. Six people were involved in the accident, according to the police.
– According to the initial information from SOS Alarm, it is a head-on collision. The emergency services are working on the scene and have closed the road in both directions. We got there a little while ago and are assisting the rescue service in their work, says police spokesperson Jens Andersson.
Two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance. The police cannot answer how seriously injured they are.
The other four were able to get out of the vehicles on their own.
The accident happened at 2.30 pm on Saturday.
