Police, emergency services and ambulance were called to the scene at half past two on Friday afternoon.
According to the police, at least two cars were involved in the accident.
The southbound lane was closed during the rescue work. But now the lane should be open again, according to P4 Gothenburg.
The police remain at the scene and are directing traffic.
The extent of the damage is currently unclear.
