Two Tillsonburg Businesses Secure Community Improvement Plan Funds

Skill Shot Pinball and Paws & Claws Veterinary Clinic Were Awarded Money through the Plan by Tillsonburg Town Council at a meeting on Feb. 24.

The 2025 Economic Development and Marketing Budget Contains $ 40,000 in Approved Funding for the Plan With the Goal to Account and Support Sustainable Growth Within The Town. No Funds Had been approved for disbursement Until Monday’s Meeting.

If approved, Businesses Receive Matching Funds Up to $ 5,000 for Interior Renovations and $ 3,000 for Accessibility Improvements.

Skill Shot Pinball at 101 TILLSON AVE. (Unit 1) was approved for $ 8,000 as they renovated a start-up business in a formally vacant plaza space.

“This is supporting a unique use for the Town of Tillsonburg and Also Something that Will Hopefully continues to serve the Town Well,” Said Tillsonburg Development Commissioner Cephas Panschow.

The New Veterinary Business, Paws & Claws, was Awarded An Accessibility Renovation Grant of $ 3,000.

Located at 356 TILLSON AVE, The Business WAS ALSO APPROVED FOR THE Tax Increast Grant Back Program that’s part of the Community Improvement Plan. The program related to enhancements of the property. It offers Growth-Related Rebates of 100 per cent in Year One, 80 per one hundred in Year Two, 60 per cent in Year Three, 40 per cent in Year Four, 20 per cent in Year Five and full Property Taxes Being payable in Year Six .

“We have happy to see this new business come to town, of race, and offered Expanded Services in the Town,” Panschow Said.
