Two Swedes killed in shooting in Brussels

According to media reports, a man has opened fire with an automatic rifle on people in a square in the district of Molenbeek.

Several people have been injured and, according to Belgian police, two Swedish citizens have been killed, reports Reuters. At least one of them must have had a Swedish national team shirt on.

The suspected shooter, who was wearing a helmet and an orange warning vest, reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle.

According to several media, the man is said to have shouted out “Allahu akbar” before he fired his weapon.

In a video clip published by several Belgian media, several shots are heard while people around flee.
