It was during Tuesday that a seriously injured man came into Ljungby hospital. Healthcare staff alerted the police at lunchtime and later that day two suspects were arrested.
– They were arrested yesterday afternoon and are now under arrest, says police inspector Kristian Prsa, who is handling the case.
The police do not want to comment on either gender, age or where the suspects were arrested. Nor what led up to the arrest. The crime classification applies to attempted murder.
Denies crime
– They are reasonable suspects and we have held an initial preliminary questioning with them, says Kristian Prsa, who also says that both suspects deny any crime.
The injured man has been taken to Lund for further treatment and has not yet been heard from. In addition to the first questioning of the two suspects, a number of different measures are underway for the police.
– There must be a proper questioning of the plaintiff, continued questioning of the suspects, then we carry out a crime scene investigation where we look for clues and knock on doors in the area.
