– We have seven units on site, says Tony Bergelind who is an alarm operator at the rescue service in Kalmar.
The alarm about the fire came in just before 6 pm on Monday night. According to information from the rescue service, it must be a two-storey house that is burning with open flames.
Risk of spread
There is also a risk of the fire spreading.
– There are nearby houses about 20 meters away so the risk is there, says Tony Bergelind.
It is not yet known if anyone or anyone is in the building.
