It was during Monday that a man in his 25s was shot to death at Bellmansgatan in Eskilstuna. Four people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the act.
On Tuesday afternoon, the police announced that the two people suspected of the murder had been released because the state of evidence was not enough. However, the suspicions against the two people must remain.
At the same time, two other people have been arrested by prosecutors for a serious gun crime.
The police also say that a knife cutting took place in connection with the incident – but there should be no suspect for that act.
Despite the fact that the two people suspected of the murder have been released, the police state that the investigation situation is good.
Monday’s shooting was the third in Eskilstuna in the space of three days.
