Two people stabbed in Seine et Marne one suspect on the run

An individual stabbed two people this Friday in Chelles (Seine-et-Marne). The suspect is on the run and is being actively sought by the police.

Two people were stabbed by a man this Friday, July 19 at the Chelle SNCF train station (Seine-et-Marne). According to information from Actu17, the suspect is being actively sought by the police. The events occurred in the middle of the afternoon, around 1:40 p.m. The first elements of the investigation indicate a “gratuitous” act.

The victims’ prognosis is not life-threatening.

The victims clearly did not know their attackers. According to Actu17, the altercation began in a train, “while the suspect was making a lot of noise with his phone”. One of the two people was injured in the face and the other in the arm. However, the public prosecutor of Meaux wanted to reassure by stating that the vital prognosis of the two victims was not engaged. They were quickly taken to a nearby hospital.

While the SNCF had announced disruptions on line P, traffic has now been restored. However, a train was cancelled at 3:20 p.m. between Meaux and Paris-Est. An investigation into flagrant violence with a weapon on a public transport system has been opened. The investigations have been entrusted to the Chelles-Villeparisis police station.
