Emergency responders were called to Finch and Fanshawe drives on the evening of Sept. 11 after a northbound motorcycle collided with an SUV, Sarnia police said at the time. A man, 30, and a girl, 13, on the bike were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man, 70, driving the SUV was injured.
The 30-year-old man, Mike Graham, died of his injuries Tuesday, and his daughter, Alex, 13, is in intensive care, according to an online fundraiser set up to help the family cover funeral expenses and other costs. Sarnia resident Kelly Patton wrote on the fundraiser’s page she launched it for her sister, Ashley.
“Mike is the main financial support to this family of seven. This fundraiser is to assist in additional transportation costs, rent, food, (and) other living expenses. . . (at) this terrible and uncertain time,” she wrote. “At the moment, there is much uncertainty and the family is taking it a day at a time.”

Graham worked at Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) Local 1059, according to his Facebook page.
He was the type of guy who would help you if you needed it, whether you were a friend or stranger, Patton said.
“Always cracking jokes and wanting to share fun experiences with family and friends,” she wrote.
Alex has an amazing sense of humor with an infectious smile, she added. “She loves to tell stories and is just so silly and makes everyone laugh.”
The second fatality followed a two-vehicle crash on Egremont Road in Warwick Township about 1 pm Sept. 10. One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, Lambton OPP said the next day. The other driver was unhurt.
The injured driver died in hospital, police said in an update Wednesday. No other details were provided.
Sarnia police and Lambton OPP said both investigations remain ongoing.
Four people have now died after three separate Sarnia-area crashes in a roughly 36-hour span last week. A Windsor couple who had just celebrated their 57th anniversary was killed after their vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer at Inwood Road and Courtright Line in Brooke-Alvinston about 1 pm Sept. 11.
It was the second fatal crash at that intersection – the other also involved a trucker – in two years.
