According to the police, the knife fight took place outdoors in the Herrgården area in Rosengård. Two of the people involved, both men in their 20s, have sought care at an emergency department in Malmö.
– Somehow they have made it to the hospital, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the Police Region South.
Region Skåne announced on Tuesday evening that one of the inmates is slightly injured. No one has yet been arrested in connection with the altercation. The police are investigating it as attempted murder.
