Two people were transported to hospital and a horse was killed as a result of a collision in Norwich Township on Friday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to reports of a collision between a horse-drawn carriage and passenger vehicle on Oxford Road 13 at around 4 pm
Two people in the carriage were taken to hospital for treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries, Oxford OPP said in a media release on Friday night.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
The horse died at the scene, said police.
The collision remains under investigation.

$29K theft from construction site

Brant OPP are continuing an investigation into the theft of about $29,000 worth of property stolen from a residence under construction on McLean School Road in the County of Brant.
Police say the first theft occurred sometime between December 19 and December 20 when suspects forced their way into the home and stole a Honda generator and a quantity of tools. Then, between December 22 at 11 am and December 23 at 10 am, a flatbed trailer was taken from the property.
