On Monday morning, SOS Alarm received an alarm that two people had fallen into a sewage tank in Ängelholm.
– Emergency services and an ambulance are here. An operation is underway on two people who are in a tank. No one has been loaded with an ambulance yet, but all efforts are still on the scene, says Martin Olofsson, team leader at SOS Alarm to TV4 Nyheterna.
Police, emergency services and an ambulance are on site at a workplace in an industrial area.
– We are assisting the rescue service by blocking off the scene, says Patrik Fors, spokesperson for the police in Skåne.

“One from the emergency services has been taken to hospital”
The injury status of the two who fell into the tank is unclear.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, several firefighters were injured in the operation after inhaling some form of gas.

In pictures taken by HD and Sydsvenskan’s photographer on site, rescue personnel can be seen wearing protective suits.
The incident is being investigated as a suspected workplace accident.
