Two people were arrested after being accused of bail violations in separate incidents Sunday.
Chatham-Kent police responded to a disturbance on Cross Street in Chatham just before noon.
Police said a 34-year-old Chatham man was on a release order with conditions that included he was not to be within 100 feet of a Cross Street address. When officers arrived, the man was found sitting at the entrance of this address, police added.
While arresting the accused, police said he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
The man was charged with failing to comply with a release order and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
He was released with conditions and a July 5 short date.
Just before 8 pm, police began a bail violation investigation in Chatham that involved allegations of a 47-year-old Wallaceburg woman contacting a man and woman while conditions not have any form of communication with them.
Investigation revealed the accused was allegedly violating that condition.
She was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order and later released with a June 29 court date.

A 25-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police responded to a report of someone attempting to enter a building on Erie Street North in Ridgetown just before 7 am Sunday.
Police arrived and the suspect fled the area, but was he located a short distance away and arrested.
Police said the accused has been charged with attempted break and enter. He was taken to police headquarters to be held pending a bail hearing, police said.
