According to the Israeli military, the soldiers opened fire after gunmen traveling in a car fired at them.
The military says they later confiscated automatic carbines in the vehicle.
On Saturday, a Palestinian man also died from injuries sustained in a clash with Israeli military two weeks ago, according to Palestinian medical sources.
With Saturday’s events, twelve Palestinians have already been killed this year as a result of Israeli-Palestinian violence.
